Terms of Service

1. Service description

Publisher Conversion converts Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files to PDF and IDML format. Files are processed on a dedicated Windows machine running licensed Microsoft Publisher software. Output files are made available for download for 48 hours after job completion.

2. Acceptable use

You may only upload .pub files that you own or have authorization to convert. You may not upload files containing illegal content. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

3. Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. All prices are in USD. Orders are non-refundable except as described in Section 4. By placing an order you authorize the charge to your payment method.

4. Refunds

We issue refunds automatically in the following cases:

  • Partial failure: If one or more files in your batch fail to convert, a pro-rata refund is issued for those files before your download link is sent.
  • Full failure: If no files in your batch convert successfully, a full refund is issued.

Refunds appear within 5–10 business days. We do not issue refunds for successful conversions.

5. Output quality

Conversion fidelity depends on the source file and its assets. We do not guarantee pixel-perfect reproduction. Fonts not installed on our conversion machine may be substituted. Cloud-only linked images (OneDrive, SharePoint) may not be included if they are not available locally at conversion time.

6. File retention

Input files are deleted within 24 hours of upload. Output files are deleted 48 hours after job completion. We are not responsible for files after they are deleted. Download your files promptly.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
